Nokia is proud to announce that its vaunted N95 8GB cell phone is the first in the world to receive Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certification. For those who are not in the know (I was certainly one of the unenlightened ones before I came across the press release anyways), DLNA is a body advocating the interoperability of wired and wireless consumer devices. What does this certification mean for the consumer? For starters, DLNA certification would mean “convenient and intuitive connectivity” between your future DLNA Certified home electronics devices, including personal computers, and your Nokia N95 8GB.
Everyone knows about the Playstation Eye, a video camera for the PS3 which allows gamers to place themselves inside certain games designed to interface with it. The Playstation R&D team has decided to take the concept a few steps further with the development of Playstation Eye Tech and Tech Lander … applications which allows users to scan any image – from real models to drawn sketches, and then bring them to life in a game application that rivals the old Atari 2600 gaming interface.
When you ask gamers what their favorite console of all-time is, chances are that you’ll hear the name Dreamcast pop up with certain regularity. What’s facinating is that despite all it’s awesome features and extreme popularity with gamers, it was considered something of a failure to Sega, and marked their exit from the console gaming market. Well, some guy with a a lot of time on his hands decided that he loved his Dreamcast too much to leave it at home all day, so he turned it into a portable console.

This is a great little device for ‘that friend of yours’ who’s always copying DVDs or CDs. The DVD Coach from EZ-Dupe looks to be about as large as the first personal CD players to hit the market, but includes 2 drive trays allowing you to copy DVDs or CDs without the need for a computer.
If you’re like me, your voicemail feature on your cell phone takes forever, and is usually very useless. Personally, I think it would be better if my voicemails were converted into text.

Brand spanking new for 2007 is the Logitec LDS-iALARM Clock! 19. Nose Picker for the Lazy Ones
Hey, what you have to say about thisgadget? Seriously not a device for people like me, and I wouldn’t prefer this over my real finger. It may find some use with the people who are quite lazy and often with the laid back kind of personalities. And seriously speaking, it may give a feeling of having somebody else’s finger in your nose. Just think of an innovative idea but not one like this.
20. Das Keyboard: A Keyboard with Blank Keys
This is the weirdestkeyboard that I have come across in my life. We usually find keyboards that have weird shapes and sizes, but this is without any printed key letters…!

This is the first mobile phone with 3 SIM card slots built in. You can use three SIM cards in one mobile phone. This is for those who travel regularly different places. You do not have to take three mobile phones any more and let the hassle of changing SIMs go away because you just need to do a simple switching job on the phone menu when you travel to a new place. The only pity is that three SIMs do not work the same time.

Xun Chi 138 is the world’s smallest cell phone. It is just 6.7 cm long and weighs only 55 grams. Due to its relatively small size, it is not possible to include a keyboard. Is that iPod Nano starting to feel a little bulky? No worries. Scientists have now created a radio made from a single carbon nanotube—a rolled up sheet of carbon atoms—that’s one ten-thousandth the diameter of a human hair. Two of the devices could fit into a common cold virus. The single tube performs all the necessary radio functions, and it’s tunable to your favorite FM station—if you have access to an electron microscope and some very teensy scissors.
Until recently, the vast majority of mobileshad been priced between £100 and £300, with only Vertu, a division of Nokia, manufacturing uber-premium phones. With prices starting at around £4,000 Vertu phones are only for the filthy rich, and the super famous.
However, Vertu’s monopoly of the luxury phone market is coming to an end with the launch of several new luxury mobile makers, including Gresso, Mobiado and GoldVish. Other mobile phone manufacturers are also partnering with luxury brands to produce a range of premium mobile phones, such as LGand Prada, D&G and Motorola, and now Tag Heuer and Modelabs. Finally, there are the ridiculous, super-expensive one-offs, made purely for headline grabbing, such as Goldvish’s “Le million”, worth a cool $1,000,000, see below for details!

When was the system launched? The PlayStation 3 launched first in Japan on November 11, 2006, with the North American release coming a mere six days later on November 17, 2006. The system was then released in Europe and Australasia on March 23, 2007.
How much does the PlayStation 3 cost, and what configurations are available? There have been two different SKUs for the PlayStation 3, though some territories only saw the release of the higher-end system. The "high-end" version contains WiFi, various flash memory inputs (like Memory Stick and SD), chrome lining around the Blu-ray drive and a 60GB hard drive while the cheaper version includes a 20GB hard drive. Here's a breakdown of the system prices for each territory/country at the time of launch:
What does the PlayStation 3 look like? Like so:
Using photons rather than electrons to move data in chips
Today the world is hungry for bandwidth and speed. But this is limited by the way we use to connect various points. If you think am speaking about two buildings or even two countries, you are wrong. Am speaking about interconnections in a single chip. At present the interconnects in an IC is made with copper. But what is happening is at luxurious speeds as 10 billion B/s (bits per seconds) these interconnects prove to be less efficient.
